Enemies’ Anti-Islam Blasphemies Rooted in Worries about Spread of Islam
Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said the enemies’ acts of desecration against the Holy Quran and Islam’s Holy Prophet (PBUH) are rooted in their fear of the spread of Islam.
He made the remark on Thursday while addressing the 10th International Conference of Women Quran Researchers, adding that those who commit such blasphemies are worried about the growth of Islam in different societies.
“If Islam weren’t spreading so rapidly in societies, the enemies would not react like this,” Larijani underlined.
He further said the Islamic Revolution of Iran generated developments whose results have emerged in the Middle East recently.
The Member of Parliament stressed that only those who have a Quranic view and their ideas and thoughts originate from the Quran can be winners in these countries (where the Islamic Awakening movement has spread).
Elsewhere in his remarks, Larijani praised women Quran researchers and said they should be proud of themselves for getting acquainted with the Book of God, which is the most virtuous things to do.
He stressed that the Quran guides humanity to salvation both in the material and spiritual domains.
Pointing to Surah Yasin of the Holy Quran, which was the theme of the 10th International Conference of Women Quran Researchers, Larijani said the lofty teachings of the Surah, which is known as the Heart of the Quran, should be considered by all people in society.
The conference was held at the conference hall of Milad Tower in Tehran where top women Quran researchers were honored.
A number of other speakers addressed the event, including Culture Minister Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini, and Head of the Majlis’ Quran and Etrat Fraction Laleh Eftekhari.
