Seminaries Urged to Introduce Ahl-ul-Bayt’s (AS) Teachings via Diplomacy of Unity
Iran’s cultural attaché in Malaysia urged Islamic seminaries to introduce the school of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) to the world within the framework of the diplomacy of unity.
Speaking to IQNA, Ali Akbar Ziyaee said in order to launch this efforts, there needs to be a campaign for translation of selected Islamic works into different languages.
He also said the concept ‘diplomacy of unity’ introduced by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khamenei can play a major role in defusing the movements of Takfiris (those regarding fellow Muslims as infidels) and Salafists.
Today, radical Takfiri elements are portraying a violent image of Islam, a faith in which mercy precedes anger, he noted.
Ziyaee underlined that the enemies exploit religious and sectarian conflicts and divisions for their long-term objectives, adding that the diplomacy of unity can help to strengthen Muslim countries’ convergence and cooperation in resolving political, cultural, social and economic issues.
“The West sees such convergence and cooperation among Muslims as a threat to the spread of its influence in the region and that is why it continues the policy of ‘divide and rule’, though this old Machiavellian policy no longer works.”
He underlined that millions of Muslims in different parts of the world are now aware of the West’s ploys and therefore such plots can no longer be much effective in the Middle East and the Muslim world.
Iran’s cultural attaché in Malaysia stressed that establishing Muslim unity requires knowing well the different Islamic currents through dialogue.
He further highlighted the role of the media in paving the ground for enhancement of unity and fighting radicalism, saying that Muslim media should do their best to promote understanding and preparing the ground for dialogue and implementation of the diplomacy of unity.
Ziyaee went on to say that Islamic seminaries should confront the negative propaganda of the opponents of the diplomacy of unity.
