Ma’aref Radio Honors Imam Khomeini’s Disciple

Ayatollah Bakhtiyari, a disciple of Imam Khomeini (RA), was honored by the officials of Ma’aref Radio in the holy city of Najaf.
According to the public rations’ office of the radio channel, Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Lotfi Niyasar, director of the channel and a number of the radio’s officials gathered at the residence of the scholar and thanked him for his valuable contributions to the radio’s programs.
Ayatollah Bakhtiyari, for his part, appreciated the activities of the radio channel and considered it as a blessing of the Islamic Revolution and Imam Khomeini’s (RA) movement to fight with tyranny.
He wished success for the radio in promoting Islamic teachings in the Muslim community.
The scholar, who was a student of Imam Khomeini (RA) in the holy city of Najaf, donated rare cassette tapes containing lectures by the late founder of the Islamic Revolution to the radio.
The tapes include a series of speeches on Velayat-e Faqih, delivered during the years when Imam Khomeini (RA) was in exile in Iraq.
The speeches have been aired by the radio channel and received very well by the listeners.
