The first session of a series of forums on “Quranic Society, Insight, Missions and Harms” was held at the Iranian Quran News Agency on Sunday, March 3.
Supreme Leader’s representative in Baseej Organization Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Reza Tuyuserkani and strategic management expert Mohammad Hassan Ghadiri-Abyaneh took part in the session.
Addressing the forum, Hojat-ol-Islam Tuyuserkani said the Holy Quran has been revealed to guide people’s thoughts and behaviors and lead them to the truth.
He said so long as man acts upon Quran teachings, he can serve a prophetic mission in society.
Hojat-ol-Islam Tuyuserkani added that the Quranic community should not stop at reading or memorizing the Quran but should move toward explaining and clarifying Quranic concepts.
He noted that the Quranic community should have an active presence in defending the issue of Velayat-e Faqih (guardianship of the Supreme Jurist).
The senior cleric went on to say that fighting ignorance in society is among the main roles of the Quranic community.
Ghadiri-Abyaneh also addressed the forum saying that due to the defeat of communism and liberalism the East and West feel a gap that can be filled by introducing the true teachings of Islam and the Holy Quran.
He referred to the Zionists’ propaganda against Islam and said that the Quranic community can take great strides to confront such propaganda by presenting and clarifying the teachings and concepts of the Quran.
