Islamic Knowledge Contest Held in Russia

A competition on Islamic knowledge was held on Monday, March 11, in Saratov city of Russia.
Students of the region’s Sheikh Sayyed Islamic School took part in the contest, which was special for girls, IQNA’s Europe branch reported.
It featured questions about Islamic Fiqh (jurisprudence), Public relations director of Saratov province’s religious affairs department said.
He added that the department organized the Islamic competition in cooperation with the Saratov Muslim Center.
A number of scholars and Islamic experts from the province formed a jury committee that supervised the contest.
Saratov province is located in southern Russia.
