Quran Memorizers Honored in Yemen

In a ceremony on Thursday, March 14, over 640 memorizers of the Holy Quran and 150 religious preachers were honored in Yemen.
Organized by Al-Hikma Al-Yaminya charity institute, the ceremony was officiated by Yemeni President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
Representatives of Quran centers as well as Quran devotees from Yemen and other countries were present at the program.
Head of the Al-Hikma Al-Yaminya charity institute’s executive council Tareq Abdul Wasse’e Muhammad said in a speech that the institute has so far trained many Quran memorizers and religious propagators as well as building some 1000 mosques and schools.
Other speakers at the program underline dthe need for encouraging the youth to learn the Quran and act upon its lofty teachings.
