Training Courses for Prayer Leaders in Switzerland

Muslim prayer leaders of Switzerland will attend special training courses, RTS website reported.

In a meeting yesterday, March 16, representatives of Islamic organizations, university chancellors and higher education system officials discussed the issue and agreed to hold special training courses for prayer leaders in the country.
Antonio Loprieno, a higher education official, said university scholars will determine the content of the courses in consultation with Muslim scholars.
The courses will be held with the cooperation of foreign academic centers, especially Islamic universities and universities of Germany.
There will be a conference next fall to discuss the content of the courses.
