30 Quran Exhibitions Featuring Surah Al-Waqea

30 mobile exhibition of Quranic artworks were held in the previous Iranian calendar year (ended March 21) in different parts of the country.
Gholam-Ali Damsaz, member of the Quranic Formations Associations’ board of directors, told IQNA that the exhibitions were organized by the Higher Education Center for Training Quran Teachers in cooperation with the Center for Coordination, Promotion, and Development of Quranic Activities.
He said the expos displayed artworks featuring the 56th Surah of the Holy Quran, the Surah Al-Waqea.
According to Mr. Damsaz, a fund of 710 million rials was allocated for mounting the exhibits by the Quran and Etrat Deputy of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance.
He noted that the expos had over 500,000 visitors and that there were sideline programs such as courses on the concepts of the Surah.
Damksaz, who is also the director of Higher Education Center for Training Quran Teachers in the eastern town of Torbat-e Jam, said that one of the mobile exhibitions was mounted in the Afghan capital of Kabul in coordination with the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization.
He went on to say that through Quranic programs held in different parts of the country, 100,000 individuals memorized Surah Al-Waqea and learned about its concepts and teachings.
