ICRO’s Quran Int’l Foundation Opens
The Quran International Foundation of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) was opened concurrent with the Persian New Year on March 21.
Talking to IQNA, Mohammad Bagher Khorramshad, head of the organization, said that the Supreme Council of the organization approved the establishment of the foundation on February 18.
He stated that the foundation was officially registered last month and started its activities last week.
Some of the activities of the international foundation include organizing Iranian Quranic activities abroad, coordinating various Quranic centers' activities, translating the Holy Quran into different languages and publishing and distributing Quran copies in various parts of the world.
