Tehran’s Interim Friday prayer leader said the closing verses of Surah Nahl of the Holy Quran describe the right approach to confront the enemies’ pressures.
In his second sermon on Friday, April 5, at the University of Tehran's campus, Ayatollah Mohammad Emami-Kashani said based on verse 127 of the Surah “And be patient, [O Muhammad], and your patience is not but through Allah . And do not grieve over them and do not be in distress over what they conspire,” one should not get tired of standing up against the enemies.
He referred to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution’s speech in Mashhad two weeks ago, saying that based on Imam Khamenei’s statements, the enemy has sought to confront the Iranian nation in two ways, first by getting the Iranian people preoccupied with sanctions and threats and keeping them away from essential issues, and second by denying the country’s progresses in technological and industrial fields.
Ayatollah Emami-Kashani underlined the need for the elites to pay attention to the country’s problems and how they can help to solve the problems.
He also pointed to the slogan of the year, namely, Year of Political and Economic Epic, saying that economic epic means strengthening labor, production and investment to curb imports and boost exports.
Tehran’s interim Friday prayer leader referred to political epic, and said the upcoming presidential elections in June will be a significant event, and that the Iranian nation should go to the polls with unity and solidarity to show the enemies that sanctions have been ineffective.
