The Islamic-Christian commission for the support of Jerusalem and holy sites condemned the Israeli settlers' attack on two Palestinian mosques in Bethlehem.
The settlers sprayed hate and racist graffiti on the Salah al-Din al-Ayoubi and Bilal bin Rabah mosques in Tekoa village near Bethlehem.
The commission considered, in a press statement on Sunday, the settlers' attack as "a flagrant violation of the international law, freedom of worship, and the obligations of Israel as the occupying power in Palestine”.
The Islamic-Christian commission charged that the Israeli settlers’ repeated attacks on places of worship in Jerusalem are in violation of heavenly religions and the international laws and norms.
It stressed the need to put an end to the Israeli violations and practices against the Palestinian people, properties, and the Islamic and Christian holy sites.
