Int’l Conference of “Diplomacy & Soft Power in Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) Seerah” Kicks off
An international conference on “Diplomacy and Soft Power in the Seerah of Holy Prophet (PBUH)” began in Tehran on Wednesday morning.
The opening ceremony began by reading a message from Ayatollah Abdollah Javadi Amoli, followed by speeches by Chairman of the Assembly of Experts Ayatollah Mahdavi-Kani and secretary of the Cultural Revolution Supreme Council Mohammad Reza Mokhber-Dezfuli.
Theoretical bases, conceptology, and dimensions of diplomacy in the Seerah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and using the Holy Prophet’s diplomacy and soft power to materialize peace and justice in contemporary world are the main themes of the conference.
Prominent scholar Ayatollah Seyyed Jafar Mortadha, Secretary General of the Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) World Assembly Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Hassan Akhtari, Muslim researcher and director of Toronto-based Contemporary Islamic Thought Institute Zafar Bengash, and prominent Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi will be honored in this international event.
Also, on the sidelines of the conference the book “Diplomacy of Just Peace in Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) Seerah” will be unveiled.
