Belgians Rally Against Massacres in Myanmar
People in Belgium staged a rally on Friday in protest against the massacre of the Muslim minority in Myanmar.
The rally took place in front of the Myanmar embassy in Brussels, Islametinfo website reported.
The demonstrators voiced their protest against the silence of western and international communities over the violence and brutality committed by Myanmar’s Buddhists against Rohingiya Muslim minority.
Around 800,000 Rohingiya Muslims who live in Myanmar have been subject to violent attacks by radical Buddhists in the past months.
The government does not recognize them as citizens of Myanmar and keeps silent over the atrocities committed against them by Buddhists.
