Al-Kawsar Quran Interpretation Program Well-Received
A Quran interpretation program aired on Al-Kawsar TV Network has been warmly received by the network’s viewers.
The program is hosted by well-known Lebanese historian Allameh Sayyed Jafar Mortadha Ameli, Al-Kawsar website reported.
Given the long experience of the Shia scholar and his innovative method of interpreting the Quran, the program has received high ratings by the network’s viewers.
The Quran interpretation program has been produced in 26 episodes each lasting 25 minutes. A number of the scholar’s students also participate in the program.
Born in Jabal Amel region in Lebanon, Allameh Sayyed Jafar Mortadha pursued his religious studies in the holy cities of Najaf, Iraq, and Qom in Iran.
He also spent over two decades teaching and conducting research in Islamic sciences in the Qom Seminary.
As many as 20 books by the Lebanese scholar have been published so far, the most famous one being the 35-volume “Seerat Javdaneh” (the everlasting Seerah).
