Members of 30th Int’l Quran Contest Jury Panel Announced

Head of the Technical Committee of the 30th edition of Iran's International Quran Contest announced that the competition will be supervised by 19 international judges from Iran and 5 other countries.
According to the information office of this edition of the contest, Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Mas’ud Miriyan said that the jury panel of the competition will comprise 9 Quran experts from Iran and 10 others from abroad.
Abdul Rasul Abayi has been selected as head of the panel and Ikmal Zeydi bin Hashem from Malaysia, Rezwan Darwish from Syria, Adel Khalil Mahmoud from Lebanon, Junaidain Idris from Indonesia and Abdul Mu’em Ahmad Muhammad Umar from Sudan will be the members of the panel.
He added that the judges will evaluate the Quranic skills of the participants in the fields of memorization, Waqf and Ibtida, Tajweed, Lahn and Sawt.
The international Quran contest will be held from May 31 to June 7.
