24th Anniversary of Imam Khomeini’s (RA) Demise in Armenia

Iran Cultural Center in Armenia will hold a mourning ceremony on June 4 at Armenia’s National Academy of Sciences on the 24th anniversary of Imam Khomeini's (RA) demise.
According to the public relations and information office of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the programs on the occasion and the organization of the ceremony were discussed at a meeting. with the presence of Mehran Shiravand, Iranian Cultural Attaché in Armenia and Awik Isahakiyan, head of the Literature Institute of Armenia’s National Academy of Sciences.
Speaking at the meeting, the Armenian official talked about his visit to Shiraz and noted that the Iranian government has well maintained museums, churches and the shrines of great scholars, literary figures and artists.
The Iranian official invited the Armenian scholar to present speeches at the ceremony to be hosted by the academy.
It was decided that a collection of Armenian poets' works about Iran, the Holy Quran and Iranian poets be translated and published by the Iranian Culture Center in Yerevan in Persian and Armenian languages.
