Quran Contemplating Session Planned in France

A Quran contemplation session titled “Quranic Treasures” is planned to be held today in the French city of Venissieux.
The session is held at the city’s Parilly Park for 1.5 hours with the participation of French Muslims, Saphirnews website reported.
It aims to encourage reflecting on the verses of the Holy Quran and promote the teachings of the Holy Book.
The Muslim attending the session will each introduce the verses of the Quran that they have found most instructive.
Venissieux is a city to the South of Lyon with a population of around 60,000.
France is home to the largest Muslim minority in Western Europe and its Muslim population is estimated at around 6 million.
