Al-Kowsar TV Network Hosts Iranian Reciters on Ramadan Nights
Al-Kowsar TV Network hosts internationally-known Quran reciters of the country during the holy month of Ramadan.
According to the network’s public relations office, every night during the holy month, a prominent Qari is invited to recite the Quran and his recitation is broadcast live on the network.
The Ramadan nights recitations are broadest at the end of the Television Quran Competition Innal-Mutaqina Mufaza.
In the past four nights of the month of Quran, reciters Hossein Fardi, Mohammad Reza Purzargari, Mehdi Qarasheikhlu, and Hossein Rostami took part in the program.
The sixth edition of the Innal-Mutaqina Mufaza Quran Competition, which is a phone-in TV contest, is held every night in Ramadan for 30 minutes.
Contestants from 20 countries recite verses from the Book of God on TV through telephone.
Every night, the best Qari makes it to the semi-final stage and the top five reciters compete in the final stage of the event.
Winners will be announced and awarded on the last day of Ramadan, the night before Eid-al-Fitr.
