Awqaf Organization Introduces Quran Memorizers Training Plan at Int’l Quran Exhibition
The Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization introduces its plan for training Quran memorizers at the 21st International Holy Quran Exhibition.
The Quranic plan is introduced through online courses as well as through classes at the organization’s pavilion in the exhibition.
Visitors to the pavilion learn about the plan and can register to participate in it and learn the Quran by heart.
Last year, the organization held courses for 200,000 individuals across the country to learn between one and three Juzes (parts) of the Book of God.
The participants then took an exam to assess their progress in memorizing the Quran and those who scored the best in the exam were honored concurrent with the International Holy Quran Competition in early June.
Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khamenei has reiterated the need for training 10 million memorizers of the Quran in the country.
Several government bodies including the Education Ministry and the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization work to realize the objective of training 10 million Quran memorizers.
