Representatives of Different Faiths Attend Fast-Breaking Ceremony in Russia

A fast-breaking ceremony was held with the participation of representatives of different religions in Saratov Province of Russia.
According to IQNA’s branch in Europe, the Office for Muslims’ Religious Affairs of the province organized the program on July 23.
Sergey Dogadin, leader of Orthodox Christians, Alexander, Christian cleric, Michael Mezhigod, leader of Catholic Grand Church in Saratov, Buris Shinchok, Minister and head of the Committee of Social Relations and National Policy, Salman Haji Musayev, head of the National and Cultural Associations Union and Arayik Kazayan, deputy of Saratov’s Armenians Association.
The ceremony was addressed by Fanil Hazrat Bibarsov, imam of Grand Mosque of the province, who talked about the importance of the holy month of Ramadan and fasting in Islam as well as the guidelines of the Divine religion on peaceful coexistence and friendly relations with followers of other religions.
The participants stressed the necessity of promoting religious convergence.
