Ethics and Mahdism, Theme of 10th International Mahdism Conference
Executive secretary of the 10th International Mahdism Conference said the theme of the 10th edition will be ethics and Mahdism.
Speaking to IQNA, Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Mohammad Ali Mousavinasab added that like previous years, Tehran will host the event.
He said the conference is the most important scientific event in the country and Muslim world in the field of Mahdism studies and that it is attended by scholars and thinkers from Iran and other countries.
He stressed that Mahdism (awaiting the Savior) is humanity’s main aspiration and that there is not any nation or community that has not envisioned a bright future for itself or any religion that has not promised such a future.
Hojat-ol-Islam Mousavinasab noted that every year Muslims and even non-Muslim scholars and thinkers from around the world warmly welcome the call for papers for the conference.
He said the scientific event in the past years has presented various patterns in different spheres of Mahdism.
The cleric went on to say that the 10th edition of the conference will be held in the month of Sha’aban next year (June 2014).
