Islamic Center of Irving Hosting Public Courses on Islam
The Islamic Center of Irving will offer a free Discover Islam course open to the public on Oct. 5, 12, and 19.
The courses are designed to educate all faith backgrounds on the religion of Islam.
Classes will be from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Course materials. Course topics include understanding Islam; women in Islam; the Shariah law and more.
Courses will be taught by speakers in the Muslim community, including Nouman Ali Khan, CEO of Bayyinah; Nicole Queen, photographer; and Yasir Birjas, religious leader and Islamic scholar.
