Lebanese Shia Cleric Underlines Culture of Dialogue

President of Lebanon's Higher Shia Council Ayatollah Abdul-Amir Qabalan urged promotion of the culture of dialogue.
In a message issued on Eid Al-Adha, the Lebanese cleric congratulated Muslims on the auspicious occasion and said adopting the culture of dialogue is necessary for solving the problems and avoding violence and clashes.
He hoped that the Eid will be full of blessings for the Muslim Ummah and pave the way for constructive dialogue in the Muslim world.
The cleric also underlined the need for solidarity and unity in Lebanon and said the occasion of Eid should be used to solve the problems.
He called on all Muslims to implement the concept of self sacrifice, which is among the messages of the Eid Al-Adha.
He further invited Syria’s opposition groups to choose the path of dialogue and asked the government of Bahrain to stop its crackdown on Bahraini nation.
