Call for Submitting Papers to “Culture and Religious Thought” Int’l Festival

December 21 is the deadline for submitting papers to the international festival of “Culture and Religious Thought” to be held in the holy city of Qom in February 2014.
Talking to IQNA, Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Nasiri, secretary of the festival said that the holy city will host the first edition of the international event on February 20.
Collecting valuable scientific works in the fields of religious and Islamic sciences and identifying the latest scientific achievements and researchers and scholars in various parts of the world actively involved in these fields are the main objectives of the festival.
It will include twenty five categories such as philosophy, history, religious education and training, economic fields, trading systems and international relations.
Noting that positive interactions created among religious organizations and different universities and faculties of theology in various parts of the world as well as Iranian students and university lecturers abroad, he expressed hope that the festival will be held successfully.
It is due to be organized in two sections including the general and the eminent figures who will be invited to attend the program.
Those willing to attend the festival should submit their papers, both abstracts and full papers, until December 21. So far 50 papers have been sent to the secretariat of the festival.
The papers are evaluated within 10 days after receiving by the scientific committee of the organizers comprised 80 university lectures and experts.
All accepted papers will be published as full papers until 11 February 2014 and will be mailed to the authors along with their certificates.
