10,000 Individuals to Attend Quran Interpretation Competition

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Iran’s Union of Grassroots Quranic Institutes will organize a competition of interpretation of the Holy Quran this Friday.

Some 10,000 individuals are expected to take part in the competition, titled Nur-ol-Hoda 7, Seyed Hossein Kusheshi, managing director of the union, told IQNA. 
He said the large number of participants shows the laudable activities of Quranic institutes in the field of Quran interpretation.
Kusheshi added that the competition will be held Friday morning in all the provinces of the country.
The Quranic event is aimed at promoting reflection on the concepts and teachings of the Quran.
