“Quran and Islamic Teachings” Course Planned in Pakistan

TEHRAN (IQNA) - An educational course on Quran and Islamic teachings will be held for Pakistani students by Dar-ol-Quran Center of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) library in Quetta.


According to IQNA’s branch in West Asia, the Cultural Section of the Quranic center announced that the three-month course has been planned for both men and women.

“Reading of the Holy Quran”, “Tajweed principles”, “Islamic injunctions”, “ethics”, “Islamic teachings”, and “introduction to the Imam of the time (may God hasten his glad advent)” are various themes of the course.

The classes will be hosted by Fatemiyyah Husseyniyyah (public hall for holding religious ceremonies) of the city.

Eminent Quran experts and top Quran reciters and memorizers from the region will teach the course.

Registration for the course has been underway since December 2.

The center said the main objective of the course is to provide an opportunity for students to make the best use of their winter holidays and learn to read the Quran and get better acquianted with the teachings of Islam.
