“Islamic Unity and Moral Education Forum Planned in Kyrgyzstan

TEHRAN (IQNA) - A forum titled “Islamic Unity and Moral Education, Perspective of Studies of Islam” will be held on January 9, 2015 at Arabaev University in Kyrgyzstan.


According to the public relations and information office of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the scientific forum has been planned to be held on the birthday anniversary of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

Inviting to promote Islamic unity and solidarity in today’s crisis that the Muslim world is facing and developing moral and ethical issues in the society are among the objectives of the program.

Iranian Cultural Center in Kyrgyzstan, the university, Academy of Kyrgyzstan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, L.T.R TV channel and Echo of Manas TV channel in Kyrgyzstan will cooperate to organize the forum.

The Holy Prophet (PBUH) as a role-model of ethics and the Holy Quran and Sunnah as the main principles in Muslims unity will be highlighted at the event.

The participants will discuss the necessity of interfaith dialogue in today Muslim world, features of religious and moral education based on the Seerah and characteristics of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) as a role-model, Islamic studies and Islamic science production in Muslim countries, Islam in Kyrgyzstan and opportunities for civilized and historical unity of Muslims.
