Students’ Quran Contest Promotes Quranic Culture

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Director of ISESCO Regional Office in Tehran described the International Holy Quran Competition for Muslim Students as a venue for promoting Quranic culture.

Dr Abbas Sadri told IQNA that the contest is a great and effective Quranic activity which ought to be supported.
He added that ISESCO (Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) is proud to be cooperating in the organization of the competition
The fifth edition of the International Holy Quran Competition for Muslims Students is scheduled to be held on January 1-4, 2015 in Tehran.
Quran reciters and memorizers from over 50 countries, including Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iraq, Syria, Germany, Afghanistan, Malaysia, Egypt, the US, and Kazakhstan will take part in the international Quranic event.
