Quranic Course for Women Held in Najaf

TEHRAN (IQNA) - A Quranic course titled “Al-Qadir” was held for women by the Religious Affairs Section of Imam Ali’s (AS) holy shrine in Najaf, Iraq.


According to the information website of Alawi holy shrine, the annual course was organized by the Holy Quran Department of the Office for Religious Education of Women affiliated to the Religious Affairs Section of the holy shrine.



“Ahl-ul-Quran ‘Urafa Ahl-ul-Jannah” (people of Quran are mystics among the people of Paradise) was the motto of this edition of the course in which the techniques for easy memorization of the Holy Quran's verses were discussed and the students memorized some Juzes (parts) of the Divine Book during the course.



The participants at the course also learned the rules and principles of Quran recitation.



Anwar Al-Husnawi, director of the department said that Dar-ol-Quran Center of Alawi holy shrine hosted the course.



He added that the department plans to hold more educational programs on Quran memorization in the next months.
