According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the ceremony was organized by the Iranian Cultural Center in Kyrgyzstan with the participation of more than a thousand cultural, scientific and religious figures of the country.
The character of the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, his thoughts and various aspects of his life in different periods of the revolution were discussed at the program.
Speaking at the ceremony, Muhammad Sharif, president of the Culture and Art University of Kyrgyzstan said that the Iranian Islamic revolution gifted freedom and independence to the Iranian nation.
He also said that cultural and scientific cooperation between the Iranian Cultural Center and the university has been influential.
He noted that the center has made fruitful efforts to introduce the Iranian culture and art to the people of Kyrgyzstan.
Also addressing the ceremony, Najafi, Iranian ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, said that the message of the Iranian revolution was independence, freedom, self-reliance and revival of the Islamic identity and human virtues.
Iranian traditional music and plays were performed as other parts of the program.
The program was broadcast by the media of Kyrgyzstan including Echo Manas and L.T.R. channels.
