
According to Palestine information center, the city’s Awqaf department has established the center.
It was opened on Tuesday, March 17, in a ceremony attended by Palestinian officials.
Tibyan Quranic Sciences Center, which is located in Al-Katiba Mosque in Khan Yunis, aims to promote the Quranic culture.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Palestinian lawmaker Abdul Rahman Jamal underlined that the center can play a major role in developing Quranic sciences in society.
He added that learning the Quran, reading it and contemplating its teachings are necessary for all Muslims.
More than 100 individuals of different ages have already signed up to benefit from the center’s services.
