ICRO Deputy Visits Malaysia Quran Printing Institute

TEHRAN (IQNA) – International Affairs Deputy of Iran’s Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) on Friday paid a visit to Malaysia’s Quran printing institute, Yayasan Restu, in the city of Shah Alam.


According to ICRO’s public relations office, Mohammad Abolqassemi was accompanied by Ali Akbar Ziyaei, Iranian cultural attaché in Malaysia, during the visit.

He learned about the activities of the institute, its museum, galleries and Kitabat (Quran inscription) and Tazhib (illumination) centers.

Abolqassemi hailed Yayasan Restu’s experiences and efforts in printing copies of the Quran and designing pages of the Holy Book.

He also highlighted the Islamic Republic of Iran’s potentials in the fields of Quran reading, memorization, and recitation and called for expanding cooperation between the Iranian cultural center and Malaysia’s Quranic institutes.

Founded some 10 years ago, Yayasan Restu is a non-governmental institute active in the field of Islamic arts and designing and printing copies of the Holy Quran.
