“Imam Khomeini (RA) and the Quran” Congress Slated for Late October
According to Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Reza Heshmati, the ministry’s Quran and Etrat Deputy, it is slated to be held on October 30.
He told Fars news agency that a large number of papers have been submitted to the secretariat of the congress.
It had been planned to be held in June, he said, adding that in order for better organizing it, the congress was postponed to October.
Hojat-ol-Islam Heshmati noted that the congress will discuss subjects such as the significance of the Quran in view of Imam Khomeini (RA), Quran interpretation in view of Imam Khomeini (RA), and manifestation of the Quran in Imam Khomeini’s (RA) social and political life.
The Institute for Compilation and Publication of Imam Khomeini's Works will cooperate in organizing the scholarly event.
