Palestinians Urged to Attend Al Aqsa Mosque in Large Numbers in Ramadan

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Sheikh Ekrima Sa'id Sabri, the preacher of al-Aqsa Mosque and head of the Supreme Islamic Committee of Quds, called on Palestinians to have extensive presence in the holy mosque during Ramadan.

According to Palestine.info website, Sheikh Sabri underlined the importance of going to al-Aqsa mosque to pray and listen to preaches in the mosque, from which the Holy Prophet of Islam began his Mi’raj (ascension to Heaven).


Elsewhere in his remarks, the senior cleric called on Arab and Muslim countries to strengthen their unity in the face of the enemies’ propaganda against Islam.


The holy month of Ramadan, the month of fasting for the world’s more than 1.5 billion Muslims, will start on Thursday, June 18.
