Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Reza Heshmati, also the culture ministry’s Quran and Etrat Deputy, added that 350 of the submitted works were selected and are on show at the Quranic event.
He noted that the artworks are in different fields of arts such as calligraphy, painting, photography, calligraphy-painting and sculpture.
Hojat-ol-Islam Heshmati noted that special attention has been paid to the art section in this year’s exhibition.
The 23rd edition of Tehran International Holy Quran Exhibition was launched in the Iranian capital city on Wednesday, June 24.
The Quranic event is annually mounted by the ministry of culture and Islamic guidance.
It is organized during the blessed month of Ramadan with the aim of stimulating development and promotion in concepts of the Noble Quran.
The expo showcases the latest developments and achievements in Quranic sciences, activities and products.
