Unity Number One Issue in Muslim World
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought (WFPIST) in a message underlined that Islamic unity is the most important issue in the Muslim world.
The message was released on Sunday, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the forum.
It said that the WFPIST, based on the guidelines set by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, will continue striving to rid the Muslim world of sectarian and ethnic disputes and help to bring Muslim nations and governments together on the front of fighting the arrogant powers and reactionarism.
The World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought was established in Tehran in October 1990 at the order of Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.
It aims to strengthen proximity and unity among followers of different Islamic schools of thought.
