Nasrallah, Iran’s Senior MP Discuss Regional Developments
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Chairman of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Borujerdi on Friday met with Secretary General of Lebanon’s Hezbollah resistance movement.
During the meeting, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Borujerdi discussed the latest political and security developments in Lebanon and the region.
Iran’s Ambassador to Lebanon Mohammad Fathali was also present at the meeting.
Borujerdi and his accompanying delegation arrived in Beirut on Thursday after a formal visit to Syria.
Upon his arrival in the Lebanese capital, he paid a visit to the martyrs’ cemetery in the suburbs of Beirut and paid tribute to Haj Imad Mughniyeh, a resistance movement commander who was martyred in 2008.
