“Quran in Imam Khomeini’s Seerah and Thought” Confab to Kick off in Tehran Today

TEHRAN (IQNA) – An international conference titled “Quran in Imam Khomeini’s (RA) Seerah and Thought” will start on Sunday, November 1, in the Iranian capital of Tehran.

A number of senior Iranian officials and figures, including Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Hassan Khomieni, Hojat-ol-Islam Majid Ansari, and Ali Jannati will attend the opening ceremony.
The capital city’s Milad Tower will host the international scholarly event, which will also be attended by scholars and thinkers from different countries.
The opening ceremony will also feature a pre-recorded video-message by Allameh Javadi Amoli.
A number papers on themes like  the importance of Quran in Imam Khomeini’s (RA) view, Quran interpretation principles in view of Imam Khomeini (RA), manifestation of Quranic teachings in Imam Khomeini’s (RA) political and social Seerah, and Quranic ethics in Imam Khomeini’s (RA) deeds and words will be presented at the one-day conference.
