The bombings on Sunday left at least 12 people dead and around 40 ithers injured, al-Alam news network reported.

They happened in Ku Sudan Street in Zeynabiya neighborhood where the holy shrine of Hazrat Zeynab (SA) is located.

According to SANA, Syria’s official news agency, an explosive-laden vehicle went off on the street on Sunday morning and later, a suicide bomber set off his explosive belt in the same neighborhood.
Syria has been gripped by civil war since March 2011 with Takfiri terrorists from various groups, including ISIL, currently controlling parts of it.
The ISIL terrorists, who also control parts of Iraq, have committed heinous crimes against innocent people in the past few years.

The Takfiri group is believed to be supported by some regional as well as Western countries.
