The festival was held earlier this week with the motto of "Islamic Ideology in Fight against Extremism”, al-Wafd website reported.

Muhammad Hisham Mustafa, a student at Minia University, Al-Azhar University’s Muhammad Abdul Aziz Ahmed and Ain Shams University’s Yaser Ibrahim were the top participants.
The Quranic-religion festival included a competition on memorization, recitation and Tajweed.
There was also a competition featuring questions on religious sciences and Islamic culture.
Hosted by Minia University, it was attended by representatives of 19 Egyptian universities and higher education centers.
