Minnesota Children’s Museum to Celebrate Ramadan’s End

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Minnesota Children’s Museum is promoting for the first time a day of play for local Muslim families to celebrate the end of Ramadan.

The museum is offering half-price admission on Eid Al-Fitr, the religious holiday thatmarks the end of the holy month of fasting.

This year the holiday is likely to fall on July 6, though the exact date will be determined by the sighting of the new moon.

"It is the most special time of the year for many kids from these families,” museum board member Siyad A. Abdullahi said in a statement, "and it is fantastic that the museum will be one of the places they come to learn and enjoy themselves.”
