Titled "Quranic Studies: Methods, Styles and Interpretations”, it will be organized in the city of Carthage, near the capital, Tunis, the Ahl-ul-Tafsir website reported.
It is aimed at investigating the principles, foundations and methods of Quranic studies and discussing the latest accomplishments in the field.
The Bayt al-Hakma Islamic University will host the international scholarly event.
Organizers have called for papers on the themes of the conference, which include the status of Quranic studies in Islamic sciences, methods and approaches in Quranic research, and issues related to the issue of Jadal in the Quran.
The deadline for submitting abstract papers is March 31, 2017.
