It was held in different categories on the occasion of the Ten-Day Dawn celebrations marking the 38th anniversary of Iran’s Islamic Revolution victory.
Reciters and memorizers from different nationalities living in Germany took part in the Quranic event.
The were from Berlin, Brandenburg and other German cities with Iraqi, Iranian, Syrian, German, Afghan, Lebanese, Turkish, and Nigerian nationalities and backgrounds.
At the end of the competition, Fahim Akbar won the first title in the category of recitation with 89 points out of 100.
In the category of Adhan (call to prayers) recitation, Gholam Sakhi Jafari scored 94 and bagged the top prize.
