Women Quran memorizers from different provinces of the country who have won top titles in national Quranic events will take part in the program.

Their qualifications will be assessed by an experts committee and those decided to be the best will be introduced as Iran’s representatives in Quran competitions in different countries.

It will be the first such program for women.

Back in December 2016, Iran’s top Quran reciters and memorizers attended a similar program for men held by the committee tasked with assessing the qualification of Qaris and memorizers for dispatching the best to international contests.

Invitations are received every year from countries like Jordan, the United Arab Emirates and Sudan for Iran to have contenders in these countries’ Quran competitions for women, according to Fars.
