According to the website of the center, Alaa Mohsen Al-Jabouri, a member of the Foreign Relations Office of the center, said that the video clip includes 30 different Quran recitations recorded in two days.
The videos were recorded at the halls of Imam Ali’s (AS) holy shrine under the supervision of the media section of the Astan, he added.
The Quran recitations will be broadcast in the Quranic programs of the Astan and via its satellite channel in the holy month of Ramadan.
Ramadan, which will begin later this week, is the ninth month in the Islamic calendar. It is a period of prayer, fasting, charity giving and self–accountability for Muslims around the world.
During Ramadan, Muslims fast (abstain from foods and drinks) from sunrise to sunset.
They also devote a considerable amount of time during this month to reading and contemplating the Quran.
