TEHRAN IQNA) – The Dar-ol-Quran Center of the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine in Karbala, Iraq, has organized an online Quran competition.

Sheikh Hassan al-Mansouri, the head of the center, said the competition, named I’rab al-Quran, is aimed at promoting the Quranic culture.

Participants answer questions on Quranic teachings and concepts based on a book titled I’rab al-Quran, he noted.

It has been organized for university and Islamic seminary students, according to al-Mansouri.

It is one in a series of Quranic contests held online by the center due to the restrictions in place since the outbreak of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), he added.
