Tehran Province Quran Contest Gets Underway
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The first stage of the 43rd Quran competition of Tehran province began in different cities of the province on Tuesday.
It has been organized by the province’s Awqaf and Charity Affairs Department and will run for three days.
The participants compete in different categories, including Quran recitation, memorization, and Adhan (call to prayer).
The holy shrines of Imamzadeh Ruhollah in Tehran and Imamzadeh Aquil in Islamshahr are hosting this stage of the Quranic event in the men and women sections, respectively.
Winners in different categories will make it to the provincial stage of the competition.
