Kyrgyzstan Citizens Call for Reopening Mosques

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Religious organizations may be reopened Kyrgyzstan soon.

 

Their reopening was discussed by the nation-wide operative team for coronavirus containment on August 22.

The State Commission for Religious Affairs said it received lots of requests from citizens, who asked to reopen mosques.

The Central Administration of Muslims is ready to oversee strict compliance with sanitary requirements in mosques.

First Deputy Prime Minister Almazbek Batyrbekov tasked the Ministry of Health in cooperation with the State Commission for Religious Affairs, Central Administration of Muslims to develop the sanitary protocol in the nearest time and consider resumption of work of religious organizations in accordance with sanitary protocols.
