TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Palestinian Authority’s economy ministry ordered collection of 3,000 copies of the Quran that contain printing errors.

Teams from the ministry collected and seized the Qurans in the West Bank city of Nablus in cooperation with the Awaf and Religious Affairs department of the city, menafn.com reported.

According to the ministry, the copies contain printing errors on pages 202, 203, 326, 327, 328, and 329.

It called on the citizens to inform the ministry if they find any more copies.

They have been published in Egypt in 2007 by Ibn Haytham Publication.

The Mufti of Jerusalem al-Quds, Sheikh Muhammad Ahmad Hussein, had previously called for collecting the Qurans that contain printing errors.
