70-Year-Old Visually Impaired Man Memorizes Quran

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A Syrian man who is 70 years old has managed to learn the entire Quran by heart.

 

Mohammed al-Anaes, who currently lives in a refugee camp after terrorists attacked his home village in Idlib province, went blind at the age of 5, according to Al Jazeera.

He has a small radio with which he listens to Quran recitations.

Mohammed has memorized the Quran by listening to the recitations over and over again.

The Holy Quran is the only religious Scripture that is memorized by its followers.

Innumerable persons in every Muslim community have memorized the Quran since the first day it was revealed.

The Quran has 30 Juzes (parts), 114 Surahs (chapters) and 6,236 verses.
